Bio

Dr. Tyler Watts is an Assistant Professor of Education at Mercer University. In his role, he teaches in the Tift College of Education and is the program director for the MS in Instructional Design and Technology. He has previously served as faculty at the graduate level and as a director for teaching & learning centers.Dr. Watts earned his PhD in Education Sciences with a concentration in School Technology Leadership from the University of Kentucky. His research interests include instructional design, alternative assessment, online learning leadership, and teaching & learning centers. Dr. Watts is also an advocate for accessible and open practices in online education.
